This isn’t actually my picture of the day for today- day 76.
This is a picture of my favorite road advertisement. First of all, the man on the billboard looks exactly like somebody I know who is one of the nicest people I’ve met. So I just like his face.
Second, it changes with the season.

Last night I went to my Book Club meeting hosted at the Public Library. We had a great discussion, and as we were putting away the chairs, fellow Book Club member Lisa told me about a mailbox that she thought I would enjoy seeing. She gave me a brief description (it is a parrot) and directions.
It did not disappoint.

My fascination with mailboxes began with this mailbox. I have walked past this mailbox for years now, and today it is my picture of the day since I haven’t seen it celebrating the Christmas season before. Maybe I don’t walk as often during the holidays because it gets busy but I am so glad I saw it today before it got changed into its Russian hat!
Technically I guess I took 2 pictures today!
